Why is Hot Topic changing?

It went from all metal to now carrying Rap and R&B. There community has all kinds of stores now i walk in and theres rap playing. Look in the Carousel Mall in Syracuse NY they even went and put a ditsy blonde in the store. WTF now goth punks etc. are getting taken over by this crap.
