sounds like he still likes you an cares about you but wants to get the inside on how u feel about him.. u probably right that he wants to see how you feel.. I'm my opinion he cares bout u but not that much an he wants to see if his options are open that's my honest opinion.. hope this helps.. ni think it really good that u wouldn't get involved with a guy that has a gf already i see so many girls that do that now days nice to see there are some good ones out there still..
