Because of his record he will probably do time for the Burglary and the Grand larceny. It honestly sounds like he has no control over himself if it is drug related than perhaps voluntary surrender to re hab will help but maybe not. It really depends on the Judges attitude and disposition that day. Get a lawyer he may beat it with time served and service. I suggest he get it together, lose his attitude problem and start volunteering at a children's hospital and have a job and a suit before court. All things considered that you have given he is looking at about 5 years.
